Valuations

There are many valid reasons why an independent valuation is required and this could include:

  • Sales/Purchase. An independent valuation may be required to establish market value for properties that are to be sold or that are being purchased.
  • Mortgage Valuations. Various lending authorities require a valuation for finance approval.
  • Family Law. An independent valuation may assist in the settlement of Family Law court matters.
  • Stamp Duty. Valuations may be required to satisfy the Office of State Revenue on the transfer of property title.
  • Dispute Resolution. An independent valuation is often required in matters of resumption and acquisition.
  • Retrospective Valuations. Independent retrospective valuations may be required for Capital Gains Tax and GST purposes.
